You could not be more wrong with that statement… If you have the tools then adwords is really a thing of the past as it only works when you are paying for traffic, so it is only short term. You need to think more long term and build your traffic through article marketing and the social media sites.

You will find this much more effective and it also adds value to your website if you ever sell your business, which of course many people don’t fully understand, a website with good traffic is a very big asset to have.

Aimeegirl why are you wasting you money on Google Adwords. Try optimising your website as you don’t need to pay for organic traffic.

Website promotion is really very important specially if you are running an e-commerce site. I happen to have an online store and I promote my website mainly through Adwords.
