Ron, Nice article. I have seen several sites which are purely on article marketing. Pretty much true but these days, they don’t seem so effective due to lots of duplicate content and content mill sites. You can also consider fact that with article marketing you can receive direct traffic (don’t know how good it is for conversion.) but no good for links/seo since article on homepage today may go to 7th on tomorrow and 120th on next week. Which ultimately loose the power of BLs.

Yes this is a real problem however there is a solution to this… You need to be spinning your articles to get the best effective and when i say spin not just changing the words you need to re-write paragraphs as well as sentences within those paragraphs and then change the wording.
You also nee to be changing the link text back to your site for the best benefits.
Internet article marketing works extremely well when you are just starting out online.In order for this to work effectively you must continue to write good quality articles. My writing schedule includes writing and submitting one new article each day.
Remember that the reason to start an internet business is to give you the time and money to live the life you choose.

Yes you are right, you can still use the many article directories to get exposure for your business site, however if you really want to lift your game you can do guest posts on other blogs that a very closely related to your niche market. This gives you much more exposure and if the site you have your article on has good PR then the chances are that your article with links back to your site will also get PR overtime.
Article Marketing is still a great way of getting your pages indexed, getting them ranked with keyword rich anchor text and a good way of driving traffic direct from the articles. The trouble is it’s too much like hard work for many and they give up before they see the fruits of their labour!
