Well today [30th October 2013] I received an email from Google informing me that I was eligible for a custom URL. At first I though this is a scam and was hesitate to click on the link embedded in the email. Actually having a very bad experience in the past with email links I just used my Google+ link from my website to go to my profile page and this is what I found.
I have not been a regular user of the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin in the past as I was using the Genesis Framework from Studiopress which comes with it’s own SEO Meta details but due to a new theme being used on this site I needed to find a good SEO plugin.

However you can use cornerstone pages as landing pages to get additional information from site visitors. However my research shows that not many websites like to give a link to a landing page.
Cornerstone content is a static page on your site that is very well written about one specific item or term which will then link out to other articles of interest on your site. For us, we use those other articles as posts that form one big hub of tightly related content around the keyword term we want to rank for.
Creating your content this way allows you to find many more topics to discuss and write about on your website. This is the foundation of the website that allows you to address issues and concerns of your customers fast and provide relevant and useful information that will help them solve any problems.
They key, of course, as always with any sort of online video marketing, is for the video itself to be well done. In the context of a more casual YouTube type video, this no longer has to mean slick and professional. But the video still has to grab viewers’ attention and keep it, for any sort of viral marketing plan to succeed. It also needs to be fairly short, because ten-minute videos don’t often get passed around in the same viral manner as bright, fast-paced, short ones.
